David A. Wright

David A. Wright is an associate at Green & Chercover, a union-side labour law firm in Toronto, where he practices labour, administrative, constitutional, and human rights law.  He obtained his LL.B. and B.C.L. from McGill University in 1998, and his LL.M. from New York University in 2000.  In 1998-99, he articled as law clerk to Madame Justice Claire L’Heureux-Dubé of the Supreme Court of Canada.  Mr. Wright has appeared as counsel and co-counsel before a variety of courts and tribunals, including the Supreme Court of Canada, Ontario Court of Appeal, Divisional Court, Labour Relations Board, and labour arbitrators.  He is the secretary of the Constitutional, Civil Liberties, and Human Rights Section of the Ontario Bar Association.   Mr. Wright is the author of  several articles on administrative, constitutional, and labour law in academic journals.  He taught Administrative Law at Osgoode Hall Law School in 2002-03.
